We’ve been talking about Pizza Vs. Skeletons for a couple weeks now, but one very important question has remained unanswered: What do you do in the game? Today we’re proud to shed a little light on the subject, and I’m pleased to report that the answer is practically everything!

The above video shows ten seconds each of ten gameplay variations. There are no real graphics, no special effects, and no unnecessary animations. What you’re looking at is a game in its pure form: Interactive geometric shapes arranged in a world.

There are two reasons we decided to release such early and unpolished footage. First, I think it’s fun to see things while they are works in progress. As a kid, the “Making of Star Wars” documentary had nearly as much impact on me as the movies themselves. I’m hoping that a very very early look at a game, something that doesn’t get shown very often, might be interesting as well.

Second, I’m really proud of all the work we’ve done to pack Pizza Vs. Skeletons with as much variety as possible. Even in such crude form, I think the frantic action and eclectic fun shows through.
